Chickpea Tofu Skewers

Chickpea Tofu Skewer Recipe:
Ingredients for the sauce:
100g Soy Sauce
30g Maple Syrup
20g Grated Garlic
15g Ginger
20g Chopped Chilli
20ml Rice wine Vinegar
20ml Sesame Oil
20g Cornstarch with 60ml water
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2.Cut chickpea tofu into cubes and toss in cornflour.
3.Place your tossed tofu on a baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes
4. To make the sauce:
Combine soy sauce, maple syrup, grated garlic, ginger, chopped chilli, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil in a pot over medium heat.
5. Thicken the mixture with a cornstarch slurry (cornstarch and water mixed together) until thick and sticky.
6. Once crispy and cooled, put 3 tofu cubes on a skewer.
7. Dip the seekers in the sauce and garnish with spring onion and season seeds.
