Turmeric-Ginger Dukkah Roasted Nuts and Seeds
Adding taste and nutrition to your salads doesn’t need to be complicated! This Dukkah recipe is simple and quick. Just store it in a jar and generously sprinkle it over your salads for a burst of flavour and a nutritious crunch whenever you need it.
Turmeric-Ginger Dukkah Roasted Nuts and Seeds
Ingredients:
1 cup cashews
1 cup walnuts
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp fenugreek powder
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C
2. In a bowl, combine cashews, walnuts, chia seeds, olive oil, turmeric, ground ginger, mustard seeds, garlic powder, fenugreek powder and salt, ensuring everything is evenly coated.
3. Spread the nut and seed mix evenly on a baking sheet.
4. Roast in the preheated oven for approximately 10-12 minutes, or until the nuts and seeds are golden brown. Stir occasionally to ensure even roasting.
5. Remove from the oven and let the mix cool completely.
6.Transfer your Dukkah to a jar or airtight container for storage.
